Selling Art Photography
Have people told you that you should sell your photography or you feel yourself that it's sellable? When I first got into photography the idea of selling wasn't even in the picture (pun intended).

Follow my path as I ended up reaching a point to where I owned and operated my own gallery for 12 years. And just maybe, you gain some insight into your route to take for selling Art Photography and it not take so many years to finally do it.

In the end, it's just like I warn people about shooting weddings... If you are not passionate about it, don't do it just because you can make money with the camera.

Bye Bye Mirrors
After 40 years of shooting mirrored cameras, I have made the move to mirrorless. Was it worth it? Is it the right move for you? I guess it depends on your reasons for why you would change, I would hope not because you feel it would make your images better. Only you can do that.

Journey with me as I sell off all my mirrored gear completely and move to a smaller mirrorless camera and a virtually empty gear bag.

Film Is Dead
Although you can still find film to shoot and even photo paper to print it on... But overall the medium is all but dead. Although still being promoted and used by some but not in most pro shoots or commercial work.

With todays printing and presentation methods...
the image will be digital by the end of it's journey.

Phone Photography
Just how far will the Phone Camera eat into the traditional Camera Market. While, I don't see it replace the camera completely, the average consumer will be less and less likely to upgrade and buy new full size cameras.
